Editor

Whilst making our short film i will be taking the role of editor. I will be using final cut to edit the footage together and make it look continuous. As our film is in a documentary style i will try and encoroprate different techniques to keep the attention of the viewer. I will do this by cutting from documentary footage to footage of our subject. Here is an example of films that use old footage and footage of their subjects in documentary films.

Sound

My role in our 4 minute film is sound. I will be recording different things for sound effects for example foot steps and street sounds. I will also be taking samples from different songs and using garageband to make the original song accompany our film.

These clips are from films that have appealing soundtracks, the sound used in these clips is allong the same lines of what i'd like to produce.
